All paper certificates for airframe and powerplant mechanics will expire on March 31, 2013.  A&P mechanics and other airmen who have not replaced their paper certificates with plastic cards on or before the expiration date will not be permitted to exercise their privileges.

Replacement certificates may be ordered online through the FAA’s website.  Anyone having questions regarding their certificates should contact an experienced aviation attorney.
